Dave and I are back for another episode of Brothers Grim. This week we take a look at the 1982 slasher fever dream, Pieces, from director Juan Simon. Starring Christopher George, Linda Day George, and a face that should be familiar to fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Pieces is a movie that I’ve tried to watch on numerous occasions and never really got around to it in full. Having finally given it the time, I’m glad I did. It’s a demented piece of horror cinema, a movie that feels like it was made by a 14 year old. It is sleazy. It is offensive. But most importantly, it is charming as hell.

You guys are gonna have to do Slugs! I vividly remember watching it on USA Up All Night and being terrified of deadly slugs in lettuce! Which also reminds me of...Open House, another USA Up All Night all-star and perhaps the only real-estate-themed slasher.
