I love werewolf movies. We all do, don’t we? Just about every one of them is an invitation for the filmmakers to flex their muscle and pull off an awesome transformation special effect like some kind of high-stakes dare. This week, Dave and I take a look at one of the landmark werewolf flicks from the 1980’s, 1981’s The Howling from director Joe Dante. It stars Dee Wallace, Christopher Stone, Patrick MacNee, and Robert Picardo and stands opposite John Landis’s An American Werewolf In Paris as one of the greatest werewolf movies of the 80’s, if not 1981 since five werewolf movies dropped that year.
